FRIDAY NIGHT INDIAN TAKEOUT

THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HAVING TONIGHT!
And we will get it from the Morpeth Tandoori - which is quite possibly the best takeaway ever.
If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing. Obviously this only applies to people who live within, say, a ten mile radius of Morpeth. (Although anyone who comes to visit us for a weekend minibreak is usually able to sample the delights during their stay. So in theory, even if you live hundreds of miles away you could give it a try - providing we know you and like you enough to invite you to stay at our house, that is!)
James's flat is just across the road from the Indian and I'm sure that, if the windows are open, the smell would drive me mad! I'd be permanently hungry!
Actually James's flat is in the best location I can imagine for two young men (he shares with his mate Dunc as well as various other mates who drop in and hang around for days - and nights - eh TOM!)
It's a top floor flat - WITH BALCONY! - overlooking the main street in Morpeth. All the boys needs are catered for within walking distance, or even staggering distance as their local is literally next door! They can roll out of bed and get their morning brekkie at Costa, have Subway (or Greggs if they're short of dosh) for lunch followed by a milkshake from the new milkshake bar, eat Chinese, Italian, Indian or pub food at night. In fact they would never need to cook if they didn't want to, but they are actually pretty good about catering for themselves and their culinary skills are really improving.
So I think they really landed on their feet when they found that place.
Now, I wonder where the nearest launderette is???

(Oh yeah! That would be in Longframlington! Silly me!)
