You know how cute meerkats look when they stand up all straight and upright?
Well, Lily can looks like that too!
Admittedly she does it best when lying down, but she stretches herself full length, and put her forelegs down by her side and looks EXACTLY like a meerkat, especially with her thin, pointed little face! I'll have to try and capture her on video the next time she does it, but whenever they are in a particularly cute/silly/funny/naughty pose they decide to move again before I can take their photo!
I wonder if we'll find Lily on comparethemeerkats.com!!
I have to say, I love the meerkat advert, but the really crazy thing is that the main meerkat reminds me of...
...David who has the shop in our village!
I don't know why this is, because David doesn't look anything like a meerkat really, perhaps it just the cheeky grin at the end of the ad, but anyway, whenever I see the advert, I think of David - which probably isn't what the advertising people had in mind when they came up with the idea!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
