NEW VIDEO

I know I promised new video clips this weekend, but now that Charles has disappeared to Birmingham this will have to wait, as he is the genius who uploads all the clips and does clever things with music and stuff.
So you will need to keep checking back because you really must see how much bigger the puppies have got during the last week. Lily now weighs about the same as Rose. I can't be totally accurate about this because we didn't have them weighed at the puppy party this week, but when we put them in the washing up bowl (This doubles as their bath and is NOT the same as the one I use for our dishes, although most of those go in the dishwasher anyway, but you know what I mean.) on top of the kitchen scales we reckoned, in the split second we had to read the weight before they leapt out, that both girls weigh around 2.30kg. I think this is a pretty healthy weight gain, but haven't got a clue about whether it is too much, too little or just about right. I'll ask at the vets next week - if the puppy party is on this time.  Lily still resembles a cross between a meerkat/joey/guineapig, but Rose is very definitely a miniature Westie!
Well, it's approaching 8.45. Charles's brother Richard rang a while ago to say that he will also be in Birmingham today and will have a look at the car with Charles if that would be helpful. I'm sure Charles will appreciate a second opinion.
As for me - I've done all the housework and the washing is just about ready to iron. James will be round shortly for his pre-match visit and that will be followed by his post-match visit, which usually involves a shower. Both visits, strangely, will involve washing!
But until he arrives, I'm going to make the most of puppy nap time and treat myself to a coffee and an apricot croissant. Yum!
