Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

SHOPPING LIST

Charles said he will stop off on his way home to do a little bit of shopping. Actually, he often does this and it's very helpful too!

His list goes something like this:
batteries for the flip camera (to take pics of pups)
2 new doormats to replace the ones the puppies have eaten over the weekend
An assortment of puppy chews
The largest pack of kitchen rolls you can find
Floor cleaning wipes
Pack frozen chicken portions
Daily Mail (for weeing on)

All of which are either for, or because of, the puppies!

I did think on Saturday, that we might have won the peeing on the floor battle, because there wasn't a single puddle all day. However, last nights fun and frolics were obviously too much for the puppies and, in their excitement, they forgot all about going outside for a wee. I still practically follow them around with a kitchen roll at the ready just in case, although I have to say that they ARE getting better, but absolutely not reliable enough to go into the rest of the house yet.

I managed to salvage a tiny bit of the liver I had cooked to death this morning. The rest went in the bin because I don't think charcoal would be particularly good for puppies. (Pregnant women sometimes eat charcoal, or is it coal? My mum ate coal when she was expecting me for goodness sake. Charles's mother used to drink cabbage water - or was it sprout water? - pretty yucky anyway!  I didn't have any cravings when I was expecting James, but with Christina it was oranges and we used to joke that she would come out with Outspan stamped all over her!)
