Puppies are so like little children, its not true!
You know how toddlers won't give in to tiredness if there is something going on and then they end up getting fractious and past it?
Well Lily and Rose were quite clearly ready for a sleep, but they knew that Christina was here, and they associate her presence with lots of excitement, so they were NOT going to miss out by having a snooze. Literally within a minute of her leaving the house the puppies had flopped down on the step outside and were asleep! I lifted them up and they were just deadweight - again like babies when they fall asleep in your arms and after a while seem to weigh a ton!
I might pop down to the shop while they're settled; I thought I'd get some mushrooms for a risotto this evening and I also need the Daily Mail to line the puppies crate!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
