LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

TYPICAL!

Charles goes off to Ford for the week - and the weather turns miserable!
It's certainly damp and drizzly today, which means that not only is Charles a bit fed up, because the thought of all those damp children and their clothes isn't one to relish, but it also means that I have soggy doggies to contend with. It doesn't, however, seem to bother the puppies too much! They have just had their usual early morning play and, after a quick towel dry, are now curled up asleep in their crate. They started off curled up on their tummies with their chins resting on each other's bottom, but they've moved apart now and have taken up their usual positions. (A word of advice Lily - if Rose's bottom is as smelly as it was yesterday when we practically had to leave the room  for fear of suffocating on noxious fumes, I wouldn't be going too near it today f I were you!)

  1. That reminds me..........if one or both of the pups grows up to have a problem with their anal glands then you are going to experience a nouvelle noxious odour which is best described as an unwashed fish market floor. The vet and/or the dogs' groomer will squeeze them sometimes as a matter of course and sometimes on request. Sometimes it's not necessary but Maggie Mae has the problem occasionally.
