LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WET WEATHER

Hmm, we don't like it when it's raining all the time, do we Puppies?

To be honest the pups didn't mind the rain too much during the day, in fact, they positively enjoyed being outside earlier, but this evening hasn't been so much fun. They have spent all evening inside, with just brief visits outside for wees. Their play has been totally different from what they're used to, much quieter and far less energetic interspersed with little dozy sessions. They have got used to letting off steam in the early evening, so this must feel a bit strange to them.
Charles and I took them through to the sunroom earlier (it didn't live up to its name!) and gave them a really good grooming session. They love having a good rub down and brush up and now look very fluffy and gorgeous. They smell a lot better too!
During the past few days the pups have really enjoyed a selection of puppy chews - the usual rawhide ones AND some vegetarian ones as well. I'm amazed at how long they will just lie there chewing away happily! At the moment they are both lying on a big towel surrounded by toys and chews and just having a lovely relaxed time!
Well it looks as though I was right about who gets to go to the match tomorrow, and, as predicted - it ain't me! Charles will go straight off after work to meet James and they will make an evening of it! Lucky them!
I've been thinking during the past few days about changing my MG. I know you'll probably think that I'm only doing this because Charles has just changed his and I don't want to be left out (He's got a new car and I WANT ONE TOO! Stamps foot!) - but it's really a case of having to be practical and find something that I'm going to be able take the dogs out in. The trouble is, I don't really know what I want, although one thing's for certain, whatever I get IT WON'T BE SILVER!

  1. Sent Charles an email via Autotrader - may be worth a look as it's on the door step???

  2. Vorsprung durch technik - as they still like to think in Germany. You need a Bayerische Motoren Werke. Despite your antipathy for the car they really are very good machines. Of course you could get one of those angry looking Audis to complement your quilted jacket and then all you'd need would be complementary green wellies, deerstalker, picnic basket and shooting stick for the point to point races.
