Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WHAT A LONG DAY!

It's 9.30 and the puppies are settled for the night. They have been really good about getting themselves to bed this evening and both decided, within minutes of each other, that it was time to get into the crate to curl up.
They've used up a lot of energy today. Their play is becoming much more physical and they enjoy challenging each other for supremacy in their games. They are actually pretty well matched which makes it more fun than if one was always winning and the other was more submissive.
They've been for a little drive in their new car (well, Charles drove obviously) - which they actually didn't like much - and we decided that we really need to try and take them out three or four times a week to get them used to it. I suppose once they've had all their injections and are able to go out properly, they might start to associate being in the car with going somewhere exciting instead of just to the vet's!!
Right - just watched the end of Waking the Dead and now I'm off to bed. Lily's making funny little noises in her sleep, so I'm getting out of here before she wakes Rose up! (Rose still looks like a cuddly toy, especially when she's asleep. Tonight she looks even more cute because she's got just the tip of her tongue sticking out!)
Sleep tight!
