Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

8.30PM...

... and the puppies are snoring happily already!
I've struggled to keep them awake for the last hour, but they've obviously had enough and are curled up together fast asleep. This isn't necessarily good news, as they often wake up again before we go to bed when they go to sleep early. If I can keep them going until after 9.00 they go right through the night.
Anyway, I'm just waiting for my nails to dry and then I'll lift them into their crate and see how we get on from there.
Talking of their crate - we're going to be moving the big crate out of the puppies room shortly and letting them use their cosy beds instead. Touch wood, we haven't had any accidents during the night for about three weeks now and the pups are perfectly secure in their little room, so we reckon they are probably ready for this change. The real reason, however, is that we are moving a small settee into their room, because we've got a new one arriving for the living room in a couple of weeks and there simply isn't room for the crate AND the little sofa as well.
Right, my nails are dry, so I'm off to put the puppies to bed!
If I write another post tonight, it means they've woken up. If not, I'm settled in front of the telly watching a repeat of 'New Tricks.'
(Did anyone else watch 'Waterloo Road' last night? I can see some interesting times ahead, with the merger of the two schools. Should be fun!)
