Right - I'm back from the hairdressers and definitely a lot blonder! I've booked my Christmas appointment - 8.30AM Christmas Eve!
The puppies have been very co-operative again and have just fitted into our schedule. We've taken them out for a walk and it was MUCH more successful today. Rose seemed far more confident and we managed to get further than on previous walks. She is still not keen on passing traffic, but didn't have a major panic today. So this is good!
We're going to give the puppies a bath this afternoon because they are filthy and have that quite distinctive doggy aroma.
Instead of picking Charles's car up today we're going to collect it tomorrow morning. This is because Amble is quite a trek from our place and I didn't want to be driving along winding country lanes in the dusk this afternoon. With my bad eyesight I really wouldn't be happy, so we're going tomorrow and we'll call in at the best fish and chip shop in the area at the same time. The girls might even get to see the sea for the first time. (Hmmm, maybe they should have their bath tomorrow!)

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
