... was possibly NOT the best idea, or certainly it wasn't wise to bath both puppies at the same time. We've learned from this and will do them separately in future.
Also the big bath is VERY SLIPPERY especially when little puppies are scrabbling to get out!
Nevertheless, we do have two beautifully washed and blow dried little girls now.
One thing that was amazing is that, when they were wet through, it was almost impossible to tell them apart! They look exactly the same under their coats! For all that Rose has a gorgeous long fluffy coat, she dries much more quickly than Lily who is much more wiry and has a really thick undercoat. Anyway, they're dry now and enjoying some new chewy bones before bedtime.
Helen rang earlier to say that she and Bill will be here in the morning. We're not planning anything exciting, but it's always nice to just chill out together.
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
