Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

CHARLES WANTS TO KNOW...

...where we're going to take the puppies for their FIRST WALK!
Well Charles, wherever we take them they won't be walking very far. I suggest we just take them round the block, but I've a feeling he would like them to go somewhere more exciting. It will probably be just as exciting for them to be out and about in the village as it would be if we took them further afield.
To be honest, we'll be lucky to get them off the drive! We did have a trial run a few days ago, just out at the front and they found so many new smells between the house and the end of the drive that it took them about half an hour to get there!
And another thing; I know it's not going to happen yet, but how on earth do you know when you can let them off their leads? Someone explain this to me please. When I was watching Dannymatt's video of Maggie Mae and Isla the other day I was really impressed that they just stay close to their people and actually come back when they're called. I really worry that this wouldn't be the case with my two. Well, it probably would with Rose because she would need the reassurance of knowing that we were close by, but LILY would be off like a shot to find the nearest hole to disappear down!
(Charles has now started calling Lily 'Snowy' because she reminds him of Tintin's dog. She's going to grow up very confused (or even more confused than she is already!).)
