I'm sure that, weeks ago, I wrote about David who has our brilliant village shop, and said that he reminds me of the meerkat on the MEERKAT.COM advert. (I know, it's really compare the market.com)
I'm sure that you all thought I was bonkers, but Charles has just come back from the shop and overheard ANOTHER customer telling David that HIS wife likens him (David) to the meerkat on the advert as well! So, there must be something in it if there are at least two of us who can see the likeness.
Although David apparently can't see it himself, Charles left him practising standing very still, peering around the shop with his hands held like paws saying, 'Simple' with a little 'meerkatish' smoochy sound to make it really authentic!
(We used to have a landlord in the village pub who looked exactly like a fruit bat, but he's sadly dead now, so I won't say any more)
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
