...but when you're up at, no BEFORE, the crack of dawn on a Sunday morning you feel as if you are the only person in the world awake at that time! This could partly be because people in our village don't seem to get going until about 9 o'clock at the very earliest and most of those are either dog owners going for the early morning walk, or people going down to the paper shop, or even dog owners going for the early morning walk TO the paper shop - Golly, multi-tasking as well as being out of the house at 9 o'clock!
The other thing about being up so early on a Sunday is that you actually feel a bit cheated! I don't know why this should be so, especially now that I've established that essentially one day is pretty much like the rest, but it certainly made me feel that way this morning.
I bet Charles doesn't feel cheated though!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
