Not 'post' as in the Royal Mail variety - which wasn't late, but was all rubbish that went straight into the bin - but MY BLOG POST IS LATE!
This is because Charles snaffled the laptop till about 10.00 and then we whizzed into Morpeth to get ingredients for Wednesday's meals. At some point during the morning, Charles decided to go and visit his mother today, so he's just set off, leaving behind the birthday present he was taking for Sarah, my sister-in-law. He did turn back when I phoned to give him the news, but when he pulled onto the drive his car was making a horrendous rattling noise, which he said was a loose clip on the exhaust. So, before he sets off properly for Preston, he's got to stop off at an exhaust place to get it fixed. Poor Charles - he could have done without THAT today.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Oh dear! I've just phoned mum and he's still not turned up, so it will have been a long day for the poor guy!
