Clearly the puppies are suffering from post-party fatigue! They've had a MASSIVE two and a half hour sleep and even now look as if they would like to go back again. (Hmmm I know the feeling!)
They're both snuggled into one of the cosy little beds where Lily has her front legs around Rose, who is licking her nose. As Lily has been having an attack of hiccups, I think this may be a puppy version of 'hold your breath'. Whatever, the hiccups seem to have stopped now. Their little bed is right next to where I'm sitting and, looking down, all I can see is a tangle of paws, fluff and little black noses. At the moment they're being really lovely with each other, but that won't last long!
It's nearly half past ten and must be time for coffee. I've gone from being a total coffee addict getting through about twelve cups a day, to only drinking two cups a day, and both of these are during the morning. (After that I stick to either black or green tea.) I must say that those two cups, which are always cappuccino, are a real treat. See, it doesn't take much to keep me happy!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
