Having checked out the forecast earlier, the decision to get the gardening done today was pretty much made for me.
So I had a quick trip up to Alnwick to get 90 winter pansies, cleared out all the old stuff, cut back the climbers, tidied up the beds a bit, put the pansies in ( and still could have done with more of them ) swept the leaves up (although that was a bit of a losing battle) and now I'm sitting back with a cuppa feeling as if I've really achieved something today!
The puppies have been fab while I've been busy; very interested in the fact that it's been ME who's been digging today!
