LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

NOT A GOOD MORNING

Unusually this is my first chance to sit down and write a post. By this time on most weekday mornings I have managed to fit a couple of entries in, but this morning has been just a little stressful. Anyway, here I am now - so all is well!
I have to say that some of the stress has come from the puppies today. They have been MOST uncooperative at times, especially when I have wanted them to come in from playing. There is too much going on outside that is attracting their attention and they are going through a phase of barking at anything that moves - even a leaf blowing across the ground warrants a bout of frenetic yapping! All in all this has made for a noisy morning. I hope they get over the leaf thing, because it's only going to get worse, it IS Autumn after all. I'm going to go back to the training manual to see what it says about stopping barking!!!!
Their sleep this morning has been shorter than usual, and I don't think they really wanted to be awake at all, so now they're a bit fractious with one another. Lily is trying to have a few more minutes dozing, while Rose is wanting her to play. Oh joy!!!
(Anyway, I DID manage to spend the short time when they WERE asleep sorting out the MG ready for the part exchange tomorrow. And YES, I AM excited even though I'll be a bit sad to see it go.)
Right - this is an encouraging sign. Rose has given up tormenting Lily and both puppies are now in their own beds looking as if they'll finish off the sleep they missed earlier. Let's hope they wake up in a better mood!
