LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

THE PUPPIES...

... are clearly sleeping off the weekend activities. They put themselves to bed at 8 o'clock and are still fast asleep!
I keep telling them that on FRIDAY they will be able to go out for proper walks. This is going to add a completely new dimension to their little lives. I just know that they'll find so much to sniff and investigate that we're not going to be getting very far at first. I think I'll have to make sure I've got a pocket full of treats to encourage them to walk nicely. I'll also need a pocket full of poop bags. Have I told you that it's against the law to take your dog out without having poop bags on your person!
While waiting for them to wake, I've been catching up on jobs and, as usual have left the TV on in the background, so, of course, helicopter heroes has been on again. I have to ask, is there ANYONE in Yorkshire who is in full possession of all their limbs? Every programme features someone who has lost an arm or a leg - today it was a cabinet maker who sawed his hand completely off. He was taken off in the helicopter with his hand being carried inside a carrier bags wrapped up in frozen peas and carrots! I'm sure you can tell that I'm getting hardened to these medical emergency horrors now. In fact, I'm going to make sure I've got plenty of peas and carrots in my freezer - just in case!
