LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

RED SKY

It's just getting light and the sky is a beautiful shade of red over towards the coast - hopefully the sign of a nice day. I don't know what the forecast is, but I really MUST spend some time in the garden this week. I want to put winter pansies in all the tubs and we need to wrap the tree fern up to protect it from frost. I've got a bit of cutting back to do to some of the climbers on the trellis - oh, hang on, here comes the forecast. Hmmm, today might be okay, but tomorrow sounds pretty rubbish, so it's either today or later in the week then.
How are the puppies this morning? Well they're just FINE! They've had a good runaround outside and are currently lying on the mat in the breakfast room, getting themselves ready for their morning sleep. Rose is just about gone, but Lily is still nibbling away at her chew for all she's worth!!
Okay, I'm going to separate her from the chew otherwise she'll NEVER settle to sleep...
...ha ha - she just replaced her chew with my EAR for a while! Fortunately she's beginning to understand what 'gently' means!
