Thank you Christina, for some very nice tapas. It was a real treat to have dinner made for me. Next time, though go easy on the chilli in the ratatouille - Nandos would have been proud of you!!!
Right, it's just gone 8.00 and the puppies have had their medicine. We're getting good at this now. I hold one of their treats next to their noses just as Charles gets the syringe poised at the side of the mouth. The open their mouths for the treat - and get a nasty shock at first, but this is immediately followed by their treat, which seems to make up for it.
Poop levels are still high, but not off the Richter Scale like they were on Monday.
Talking of poop levels, I forgot to mention that, when our neighbour came round earlier, she told me in lurid detail about her own problems in that department, and how her holiday had been ruined because even double doses of Imodium hadn't been effective. To begin with I thought, 'I really don't need to know this.' Then I thought, 'I'm surrounded by, no, drowning in , poop at the moment.' And finally I remembered that this was the same neighbour who had come to say goodbye to the puppies before she went on holiday AND SHE TOLD ME THEN THAT SHE HAD THE RUNS. I remember thinking, 'Well go home then, Don't bring your germs round here.' And what happens - a few days later my girls turn into explosive poop machines. Can this be a coincidence? I THINK NOT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
