Okay, so I admit to saying I wanted a car with 'attitude'. This appears to have been picked up on in a questioning sort of way by some of the readers of this blog, almost, dare I say it, implying that my new mini may not have much 'attitude' at all.
Well, first off, I never said what SORT of attitude I wanted my car to have, and, as with most things, one person's idea of 'attitude' may not be the same as another's.
What I primarily didn't want was a nondescript box on wheels that had no personality. There, 'personality' may have been a better word to use. Or, even better 'a car that reflects the personality of it's owner'.
So does MY mini have any personality and/or attitude.
Well yes, actually, it has both in abundance.
1: It is a car that says, 'I'm fun and funky, but I'm not trying too hard.'
2: It's a car that knows it's a modern classic.
3: It may be small but it still packs a punch.
4: It's in no way ostentatious, but neither is it a run of the mill box on wheels.
5: It's a classy colour that says 'smart' and 'stylish'.
Okay, that last point probably isn't a truly accurate reflection of the personality of it's owner, although I CAN be smart and stylish when I need to be!
So, to all you Clever Dicks who think I've sold out to a car without attitude, there you have it - MY MINI HAS EXACTLY THE RIGHT ATTITUDE FOR ME!

Are you sure now?!?!? Some might dare to say it's rather stereotypical, but I would NEVER even dream of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the pups will be delighted to be seen nodding their heads in the back window by all on lookers.
(Be sure that you select the right colour Furry/fluffy dice to go in the front - a clash of colours would look out of place;-)
Can you just confirm to all blog readers that I am not guilty of such charges?........I merely called into question your rather rash assessment of my ultimate driving machine. And....well........I was.....you know....(kicks ground with mock shyness and an aimless swinging foot)......well.....hurt!
