LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

YOU KNOW I SAID HOW LOVELY THE PUPPIES ARE?

Well, they've been right little pains today!
It's obviously a day when they are in cahoots with each other, because they're clearly working as a demolition team.
Anything I have tried to do, they have come along and either ripped it up, torn it, run off with it, chewed it or knocked it over. For example, I went out to get the elephant crate ready for going out. It needed wiping over because it had been out in the rain, so first they grabbed the towel I was using and ran off with it. Then, when I'd put a nice warm blanket into the crate so that they would be lovely and snug, they pulled it out and dragged it around the patio getting it wet through. Next they invented a new game involving the poop bucket that we keep by the door. This bucket has a lid and is used for poopy tissues. It is emptied every day and lined with a clean liner. Anyway, the new game involves pulling the liner as hard as possible until the bucket tips over and the lid falls off, then you have to bark as loud as possible. If it becomes a little tedious one puppy is allowed to give the bucket a good nudge which is the signal for more, and even louder, barking. The timing of the game is crucial: If it's empty it's still an okay game, but not nearly as much fun as when there are poopy tissues in there, because these can be dragged out, trodden on, chewed and mauled and the winner is the puppy who is covered in the most poop! Then there's the game called 'Can you get YOUR head stuck through this fence?' and to be honest, I can't be bothered to try to explain that one!
Actually they are asleep just now, so I'm off to shut MY eyes for a little while too!!!!!!
