LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

GARDENING

I've actually managed to spend some time in the garden today. Admittedly it was pretty soggy after all the rain, but I managed to pull out all the sweet peas that were still in flower, but looking very much past their best. I had a quick tidy up at the bottom end of the garden, but will need to spend a bit more time there. And we MUST wrap the tree fern this week, before we have any frosts.
While I was out in the garden, the puppies were in the breakfast room munching away on two hide bones, so they really didn't notice that I was outside!
Apart from Lily's little accident (which was really MY fault) this morning, we are still doing okay with the housetraining. I have to say that, although I think it's absolutely hideous, that blue quilted jacket that Charles bought me AGAINST MY WILL, has turned out to be quite useful, and I don't think I've taken it off for the last two days when I've been in and out of the house all day long. I still wouldn't want anyone to see me wearing it, but if anyone ever does, I'll make a point of saying that it's just my doggie jacket. (As opposed to a 'donkey jacket' which is what workmen and labourers used to wear.)
