Sorry about that, but I've been playing with my new little toy - a little tin full of coffee stencils - a bit like the ones you get in Costa that make a nice little pattern on top of the frothy milk on your cappuccino. The set that i've got has stencils for every occasion, so I've obviously had to make endless cappuccinos to try all of them out. I am now as high as a kite and probably won't need to sleep for three days!
It's also a great bit of kit for decorating the tops of mince pies with icing sugar. I know this because I've just tried it! I bought the most amazing mince pies from Heighley Gate's own bakery yesterday and there is a serious danger that I might have eaten the whole box by the time Charles gets home. Handy Christmas Tip: If you really want to cheat, but don't want anyone to know - go and stock up on these mince pies. THEY ARE SERIOUSLY FANTASTIC. The beauty of them is that they LOOK homemade and are not too sweet. If you decant them into a bun tray and pop them in the oven, your guests will think you've made them all by yourself, and believe me, they will want more than one!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
