IT'S HERE!!

AND IT FITS!
Mind you  it had to go round the back of the house and through the patio doors in the sunroom.
I felt really sorry for the two deliverymen, who were clearly from Latvia or somewhere like that. They'd driven up from London in the awful weather (it's not been awful here mind you, it's only been really bad 'dahn sarf') were delayed by five hours and still had a delivery to make in Scotland tonight!
Anyway, the sofa is really lovely, but I know for a fact, that if I sit with my back against the back of it, my feet are going to be dangling way above the floor - in fact I probably won't be able to sit on it without getting pins and needles!
It's a plain fabric that blends in well with the rest of the furnishings - so I'm well pleased - and very relieved.
However, I am going to have to rethink the positioning of the fireplace, which is a shame because it WAS going to look great in the place I had originally planned, but now that we have the biggest sofa in the world, I'm going to have to put it further up the living room.
No problem - we'll sort it and hopefully Charles can start breathing normally again!
