LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

LILY AND ROSE...

... have been absolutely gorgeous today!!!
We've really worked hard on two things: 1) Not biting but being gentle and 2) Not barking at anything that moves or makes a noise.
Of course, it's a lot to remember, but most of the time they've done really well. (They are having a little bark now, but it's part of a game and nothing like the frantic yapping of the last few days.) I suppose I have to know where to draw the line. Do I have to tackle ALL barking, or is it acceptable at times. For example, I would WANT them to bark if something untoward was happening. Is it acceptable to bark when they are playing? I THINK it is as long as it doesn't go on too long. The way it's working at the moment is that Lily runs off with the chewy bone and then barks at Rose who is supposed to go and chase it. I think it's their version of, 'Coming, ready or not'.
It's funny, but you can really tell when they are TRYING to be good. Some days it's a real slog, but today they have both been really receptive.
10/10 for effort today girls!!!
