OLD GIRLS!!!

Last night was actually very pleasant. There were only four of us, but we did talk about arranging a proper get together with others from the dim and distant past before too long.
We had a lovely time; catching up on what we're all doing now and reminiscing about school. Good food, wine and company!
I got back home to find that the puppies were waiting for me! It was waaay past their bedtime, but I didn't mind at all - it was lovely to have cuddles before they finally went down for the night. I think they were (and still ARE) a bit unsettled by having James in the house! They love being around him and don't want to miss a minute that he is here. Having said that, he has just left the house with Charles to go and help Christina - and the pups have INSTANTLY settled in their little bed for the sleep they SHOULD have had about two hours ago!!!
By the way, I used the 'George Formby' grill this morning for the first time to make sausage butties to set the boys up for the day - and it was really good. No mess, very quick and a slightly barbecued taste. I'm impressed!
Right, I've done James's laundry and noted the fact that he appears to have his entire wardrobe hanging in my utility room! The tree fern has been wrapped up for winter. Cleaning is done. Puppies are asleep. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW???
