Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

SHOPPING...

...must be exhausting for puppies, because my two have hardly managed to stay awake (apart from the incident with the Ringtons man!) since we got back this morning. They appear to love their new beds, now that they have stopped trying to eat them whole, and have spent most of the afternoon curled up in them.
I tell a slight lie; they WERE awake for about an hour, during which I needed to go down to David's shop. I popped them into their crate with a load of toys and reminded them to be good girls. When I got back ten minutes later, they had completely shredded the newspaper that I leave in there in case of accidents and it looked as though they had systematically dipped each piece in their water bowl with the result that their papier mache technique is pretty much perfect now! They must have watched me go and then instantly started the mischief and yet, when I came back, they looked at me as though they'd never even moved in my absence!
We haven't been out for a walk yet, so I hope they wake up soon, otherwise the daylight will be gone. If they DON'T have a walk I can guarantee that it will be hell later on as they will have so much energy to use up it will almost certainly be put to use by beating each other up!
I've spent the last half hour crashing around to try to disturb them - but to no avail. Lily's doing that thing again, where she moves around the room by magic in her sleep. She was in the bed, then in front of my feet, then back in the bed - and I NEVER see her move!!!
