Yeah that's right - we can't go out today because we're waiting for a number of deliveries of our internet shopping.
Not that we would really want to go out because it is a particularly foul day, but I think the puppies have kind of got used to the morning trip to Morpeth and quite enjoy it. However, they've realised that it's not happening this morning and are snuggled up together, asleep in their bed.
Charles has promised to try and get home reasonably early today. For most of the last week he hasn't got home until almost puppy bedtime! It makes me laugh when he does get home because the pups, who have been my inseparable companions all day, suddenly change their allegiance and get all silly about their 'dad' being back! I don't get a look in as they both compete to be on his knee and then, when they've achieved their goal, they look at me as if to say, 'Well we've humoured you all day, but this is where we really want to be!' (Personally I just think it's because Charles can fit two puppies on his knee at the same time and I CAN'T!)
