Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

THAT'S THE MORNING GONE THEN!

Blink and you miss it!!!
Honestly, how did I EVER have time to go to work? People said this would happen and I didn't believe it - but it's absolutely true!
I had a long chat with my sister last night and, although we did talk about some fun stuff we also spent a long time talking about SCHOOL. I felt rather guilty that I no longer have all those pressures and problems to deal with. And strangely, even when Charles, Helen and Bill yak on about school-life, I honestly don't feel left out or any regret whatsoever.
Helen and Bill are coming to stay for the weekend as they have Monday off. I'm guessing it's a commuted training day. Anyway, whatever the reason, it will be good to see them and to be able to go and do some Christmas shopping together. BILL WILL HATE IT!! He doesn't really do shopping, unless frequent stops at tea shops (and loos!) are included. But he may be lucky, because someone will need to stay at home with the puppies and I'm guessing it may be Bill and Charles.
(I'm just watching a woman on TV who is 110 years old today and has received EXACTLY the same card from HRH for the last ten years! She wrote to complain about it and they've actually managed to send a different one this year!!! Aaaaah - she's quite overcome!)
Right, the puppies have had a good play outside this morning and should be beginning to get ready for a snooze. Despite my worries last night they managed to sleep through the howling wind. Actually, today is really lovely and bright, although, unfortunately, the forecast for tomorrow in Cumbria is really bad again.
