...that it was good that the fire was arriving early, so we could 'go and do stuff' I hadn't really thought about what that might be!!
In fact, I can't think of much that I either need or want to do today to be honest.
I'm kind of hanging around for a delivery of cake decorating goodies that were ordered on Sunday evening. Also, it's possible that new spex for Charles and I may arrive today, so I want to be around should either of these happen.
The puppies have had a good sleep this morning, once again shut into their elephant crate. It might sound cruel but a) they're only in there when they're asleep and b) they seem to enjoy the security. They certainly don't mind being in there at all and have now started to recognise it as their bed, as when I tell them it's bedtime, that is the place they head for. I know I laughed when Charles got this particular crate because, at the time the puppies were so tiny and it looked massive, but they actually pretty nearly fill it now when they're in there together and it will only be a matter of time before we need another one!
The fire DID arrive this morning - and it seems fine. I'll wait till Charles gets back before tastefully arranging the stones, because I'm not sure if he will want to fix it to the wall or leave it freestanding. (Knowing Charles he'll just want to leave it!)
