CHRISTMAS EVE

Yes, it IS actually Christmas Eve - albeit very early as it's only 1 am. Why am I writing the blog at this hour? Well, that would be because some party revellers passed our house on their way home very noisily about an hour ago and the puppies woke in a frenzy of panic and anxiety. They absolutely do NOT want to be awake, and are really grumpy (as am I to be frank) but don't seem to be able to settle again just yet, so I thought I'd do a bit of blogging while I keep an eye on them. I'm not making a fuss of them because I don't want them to think that its fun to be awake in the middle of the night. (Clearly Charles doesn't think its any fun either, as he hasn't put in an appearance at all!)
