...and not easy to concentrate on when there are two puppies round your feet!!!
Also, I have realised that they're not something that can be produced when there's only a half hour window because you need to make the genoese sponge, let it cool (outside in an emergency!), cut it into shapes, top each one with buttercream (note to self: using the star nozzle does NOT give a desirable finish) then smother with fondant icing and decorate. Unfortunately, the paper cases I've got are the wrong size, I need some that are slightly larger for the next batch!
I've just had James on the phone. He phones most days, so that's not unusual, but today he was complaining about the lack of posts on the blog really. He's right, of course, there have been fewer recently, but now that I'm Mrs Smug and have done all the stuff I need to do for Christmas I shall have lots of time to catch up on my posts again!
