Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

IT WOULD APPEAR...

... that the temperature has risen above freezing for the first time in days and the snow is beginning to get away at last.
Driving into (and even back from) Morpeth along the A697 yesterday was an absolute nightmare. It didn't look as if any grit had been put down between here and Longhorsley at all, so we had to crawl along at a steady pace. Charles was doing his nut about a really nervous driver who was a few cars in front of us on the way home who drove at no more than 10 MPH - which I have to agree was a little over cautious.
Actually, the weather today is gorgeous. Lovely blue skies, sun and occasional flakes of snow. A pretty perfect winter's day really.
We're not planning to go out today, but have plenty to do around the house. I am trying to fight of this cold and am dosed up with Lemsip Max and getting through Soothers as if my life depends on them!
As for the pups, they have just settled for their morning sleep, which is a bit late for them, but they obviously don't want to miss out on anything that's going on and are always a bit more restless when Charles is at home. It's that change to routine that they find difficult.
