Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

IT'S NEARLY HERE!!

I'm actually quite excited now!
All the hard work is done and Christmas Eve should be a fairly relaxed day, I've got a hair appointment at 8.30, so Charles is coming down to Morpeth with me and we'll probably do some last minute bits and pieces - you know the stuff you don't REALLY need - but would just be nice!
Then we'll come home, where I will do my usual magic with the turkey giblets! And, no doubt, there will be other culinary tasks to see to.
And then we'll be going back to Morpeth where we're meeting James for a meal. I'm looking forward to that - I think I'll feel as if Christmas has really started.
We'll be coming home after we've eaten and James will arrive at some point before midnight! (I've warned him that Santa will not come if he's not in at a decent time!!)
We found out yesterday that we're going to be having my family on Sunday and Monday, so I'm already mentally moving on from the Christmas Dinner to the meals we will be having when they're here! Then Helen and Bill are coming back again for New Year!! Is there no end to these festivities.
The thing is, I really look forward to all the food and, true to form, I make enough to feed a small country, but by about Tuesday next week I will probably be dying for something simple like beans on toast or a cheese sandwich!!!
