It's hard to believe that it was Christmas Day only three weeks ago - it seems much longer than that.
And yet, at the same time, the weeks are flying past and already the weekend is almost upon us. It looks as though James will be staying here for the weekend, unless his boiler is fixed tomorrow. This is probably highly unlikely as I doubt the engineer will be working on a Saturday.
Charles will be back from his jolly this evening. He's hoping that the flight will be in schedule, but then he and Paul have to get into town to collect the car that they left at the station on Wednesday before setting off home - so it's going to be at least 8pm before he gets back.
The pups had another good night, but have been a little unsettled this morning, probably because they knew James was around - and that is NOT part of their normal routine.
Oh no - I've just heard the weather forecast for tomorrow and it looks like more snow. Well - even if I have to borrow someone's skis - I am going to get to the hairdressers because I cannot go around wearing a hat any longer!
