Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

HAVEN'T HAD MUCH TIME TODAY

Although if you asked me what I'd done, I'd struggle to tell you!
I suppose we began with long walk down Villa Lane during which Lily and Rose walked brilliantly and their encounters with other dogs and their owners was peaceful.
I went shopping in Morrisons before my 12.00 appointment at the hairdressers, thinking I had allowed enough time to fit in a cappuccino as well, only to find the supermarket was gridlocked with the elderly, infirm and - possibly even worse - mothers with spoilt brats whose every wish was being pandered to, along the lines of, 'No, no, no you can't... I've told you a million times... oh alright then, why not have two while we're at it?' So what should have been a 20 minute whizz round actually took nearer to 40, cutting out my coffee completely.
From the hairdressers I rushed home to unpack the shopping before James and Vicky arrived (If you're wondering about the lovely Kate - she's still lovely, but she and James are not together any more. No big deal. He's fine!!!)
Jim and Vicky stayed for a couple of hours and we had a good natter, then they took the pups out for another long walk - so they are absolutely shattered (the pups, not James and Vicky!)
As those two were leaving, Christina turned up and stayed for a bit, then Charles went to pick up the Indian takeaway that we didn't have last night and I prepared the veg for tomorrow's beef in red wine.
The pups have had a really good grooming session tonight. They needed it because they were manky to say the least. And at just gone 8.15, they have retired to their big crate, hopefully for the night!
