There's very definitely the beginnings of a thaw here. Strong winds and above freezing temperatures have had something of an impact during the night, although the pups have been disturbed by clumps of snow falling from the fence and windowsills.
We've had to get up to them a couple of times, but a quick reassuring word has been all they've needed before settling again.
Unfortunately, more snow is forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed this doesn't materialise - we just want to start getting back to normal now.
The pups are outside at the moment and have spent the last ten minutes being real terriers and digging up some of their toys that are buried deep in the snow mountain. Very busy little things they are this morning! In fact, it's quite exciting for them because they don't know what they're going to find next - it's a veritable treasure trove out there!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
