Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

A NEW DAY!!!

Okay - yesterday was the lowest point we've had with the puppies.
Things must surely get better now!
To be honest we have all (James is still here, so it's 'all' not 'both'!) noticed that the girls are very subdued this morning, as they have been since yesterday's telling off.
Having read Dannymatt's comment about neutering and the benefits this can have on behaviour as well as the other more obvious advantages, I shall be talking to our vet as soon as possible.
My only concern (cos I always have to have SOMETHING to worry about!) is the recuperation period. How long does this last? How will the two of them cope if they are both in discomfort? Will I need to keep them separated for a while? WILL THEY BE IN PAIN? Answers please!
Don't tell me I'm being a wuss - I just need to know!
Well, James has gone off to work - he's flying down to the Heathrow office today for a meeting and will be away overnight. There's still no sign of the part for his boiler, so it looks as if he'll be returning here tomorrow night.
Charles has also left for work. He seems to understand how upset I was yesterday and is keen to help out as much as possible - so as soon as he gets in we will be walking the girls together.
And the plan for today? Well, we need to go to Morpeth to do a bit of shopping, so we'll be doing that pretty soon.
I really hope the next post I write is more positive than any of yesterday's - time will tell, eh?
