After last night's disturbance - I think it was next door again, making a noise when they got back from wherever they'd been - the pups woke for the day at about 6.15 today.
This seemed VERY EARLY TO ME!
Once they'd settled during the night, I tried to get to sleep, but couldn't and ended up reading till about 2am, so don't feel as though I've had nearly enough shut eye. It was very definitely a struggle to get up this morning.
Charles is just leaving for work. The pups are whimpering at the window as they watch him pull off the drive. There's been no snow or frost overnight, so that's good. In fact the snow is getting away really well now. Fortunately Charles is taking his own car today, so the pups and I are going out to Morpeth this morning, just to get us out of the village for a while.
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
