... this is the most snow I can remember in years.
The puppies are loving it! We've made a sort of snow mountain where we've cleared the puppy play area and they are having great fun climbing to the top of it and sliding down again - just like kids really. I caught them earlier trying to tunnel through it, which I suppose is typical terrier behaviour really.
Apart from clearing snow and towelling the puppies dry every few minutes, we've done very little today. We've changed the eating plan and hope to cook for the family tomorrow if everyone can get here. If this is not possible we will be very fat by the end of the day!
We have had a good chuckle at Charles's Rob Brydon DVD this afternoon, although this pales into insignificance compared to Take That at Abbey Road which Helen and I were allowed to watch last night before that ridiculously embarrassing Hootanany thing. Jools Holland - you need to get a grip before next year, that's IF you're asked back again.

Agreed...Jools Hoot...what a pile of wombat's dos. Gavin and Stacey did it for me. (Again) Not seen such understated guffaw worthy humour in years. Plus Michael Jackson from Bucharest 1993 and his 30th ann...2002? (all awesome to me as a long time fan who's sister was an Osmonds fan).....and yes she voted for Joe like a hurt lost and blinded fool...oh now I've said too much...I've said it all. That's me in the corner. That's me in the spot light...
ReplyDeleteGeordie Joe basher eh? (sharp intake of breath)
ReplyDeleteJools went down a notch in my estimation this year...
I stayed up a while longer to re-live some of the Glasto magic BUT it took a long time for a magic moment for me! it made me think about how valuable double sided sticky tape must be for Lily Allen though! Interesting outfit; that purple jumpsuit thing. Not really made for juping was it?
Sue has got so much into Gavin and Stacey that she wants to buy the series boxsets to see what she's been missing all these years!
