Just what we needed after a busy morning!
The pups have slept for most of the afternoon, while I have been able to lounge around reading - absolute bliss!!
However, I now realise that I haven't got a clue what to do for our evening meal! There's plenty of stuff to choose from, but somehow, nothing seems to go together!
I'm just watching the pups and having a bit of a chuckle. Rose keeps sneaking up behind Lily and tapping her with her front paw (obviously she has TWO front paws, but she's only using one) then crouching down with her tail wagging like mad, looking at her expectantly and waiting for her to come and play. They really do enjoy teasing and tormenting each other, especially at this time of day. Right now, Roe has managed to rouse Lily from her soporific state and they have both got their teeth firmly clamped around poor old Sean the Sheep, who is having the living daylights shaken out of him. It's become a real tug-of war! In a few minutes it will become so boisterous that I'll have to open the door and let them battle it out in the garden.
Of course it won't be too long before Charles gets home. As soon as I mention this to the girls they will take up position by the French doors, staring at the drive and positively WILLING him to arrive. Such adulation!
