WELL...

... we've done it!
The pups and I have had a most successful walk! Admittedly I didn't think it was going to happen as I was struggling to get their coats on, but once I'd got Rose dressed I put her in the crate which meant I could concentrate on Lily. Although they pulled a bit at first, they soon stopped once we'd got to the lane and we had a nice relaxed walk of about a mile. It goes without saying, that they are asleep again now!!!
This will do MY confidence a lot of good as I had completely lost it last week. I think it helped that we didn't encounter any other dogs today. Yes, they've been fine when two of us have walked them, but it's very different when I am on my own with them. The DID try to bark at david, who was making a delivery at one of the bungalows - but soon stopped when I told them that he was a very nice man who ran the best village shop in the country and stocks all sorts of tasty doggie treats!
