We can see the block paving again and the snow is receding very quickly now. Thankfully, the weather warning for tonight has been downgraded and it looks as though temperatures aren't going to drop below freezing for a while. Yippee!!!
Charles got a text from a colleague whose neighbours (sister's brother-in-law's, mother's...!)conservatory had just been smashed by snow falling from the roof. Now THAT'S a bit worrying for anyone with a conservatory, especially a flat roofed one I would imagine.
We've had a big lunch (James, Tom and Christina all joined us) and I have now decided that I am never going to eat again! That's it, no more snacks and cakes and biscuits or even chocolates (well maybe just... NO! NOT EVEN ONE!) The Christmas binge is well and truly OVER!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
