Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WHERE WILL...

... all this snow go when it eventually melts?
Not that it's showing any sign of doing that yet, but it does make you think.
I have to say that I usually LOVE living in Longfram - but not at the moment! If we were a few miles further south it might be a bit easier to get out. Perhaps we should have bought a 4x4 when we changed our cars earlier in the year! The thing is we didn't anticipate things being as bad as this.
I realise that the blog has become totally weather related during the past few days, but that's because there is absolutely nothing else to talk about. We are obsessed with it!
Is it bothering the puppies? Not a bit! They don't even seem to notice the cold and positively love playing in the snow. They've got a racing circuit in their play area and chase each other around, up the Alps and down the other side, in fact they probably think it's just been designed to add to the quality of their play!
We're trying to decide what to do about provisions. We happily use our brilliant village shop for some stuff, but we're going to need a big shop soon. I know that Tesco will do their level best to deliver whatever the weather, so we might resort to using them again.
However, I have GOT to get out of here on Saturday. I have a hair appointment at 10am and my roots are in dire need of attention. Failing that, I'll have to resort to wearing the baseball cap again! (Not that anyone can see me at the moment, so I don't really know why I'm so bothered!)
