Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

WHY IS THERE NEVER...

... ANY GOOD NEWS ABOUT NEWCASTLE UNITED?
I have Sky Sports News on nearly all the time and there is NEVER anything good/exciting/positive about us.
The most we seem to manage is that we are TRYING to sign up a couple of players during the transfer window and that we won't be letting Big Andy go anywhere (unless we get offered big money, in which case he'll be off in a flash!)
Can anyone (only talking to NUFC fans here, by the way) honestly see anyone coming in during the next couple of weeks? Apparently Danny Simpson will be heading back to Man U at the weekend! So we won't even have the status quo - we'll be worse off. What on earth is Chris Hughton doing???
(Just out of interest - does anyone else find Martin O'Neil's voice really soporific? In fact that hotel in NY could include a tape of him at a press conference as part of their pillow menu!)

  1. I'm assuming that I'm an affiliate Maggies fan...;-)... what with family members being season ticket holders and Jimmy Milner taking the right decision to come to Villa AND your reference to O'Neil, then hey, I'll submit my comments. (publishing them assumes general agreement agreement).

So, assuming that I'm now approved and 'live on the blog' so to speak, it will already be common knowledge that Chris Hughton has warned new Bolton counterpart Owen Coyle not to bother making a bid for striker Andy Carroll. But what is right for Andy? Should he follow his mate Jimmy Milner to Villa? May be a swap for dear old Marlon (if the Magpies can beat West Ham or Leeds to the finishing post)? Jermain Beckford may be on his way to the Magpies if we are quick with the cash, but Owen Coyle - now at Bolton could pinch them both from under Chris Hughton's nose >:-(

But what do the players want?......

To play for Aston Villa and softly spoken Martin O'Neil of course in the League cup final at Wembley against Manchester______ - fill in the gap!!!!;-)

  2. Oh the wit of the man!

The point I was making was simply that there is never ever any good news about our club. Our good news is when players are not going to be moved on to line Fat Ash's pockets.

In fact I suspect the only time there will be any good news at our club is when the fat one finally gets out of it. Until then we will continue to be run in the same manner as his odious, bargain-basement stores.

  3. Cheer up Sue, the Magpies are a FANTASTIC Club on thier way to bigger and better things where true footy fans across the country know its their destiny.

They are number 1 in the Champiionship with a game in hand against Forrest - their nearest Rival. 13 points ahead of Cardiff before they can be caught (4 wins and a draw assuming the Magpies don't get another point in their next 5 games - not a chance).

  4. Thank you Richard - I do feel better now!!
BUT, a word to the wise, never underestimate NUFC's capacity to self-destruct - it's the stuff of legend!!
