Mothers eh! What do you do with them?
Mine has just rung to update me on the medical procedures she's been having today - poor thing sounds really exhausted and sore.
But in the course of the conversation she was asking about the pups and had expected then to be going in for surgery today. I'd completely forgotten to tell her that their appointment has been changed.
I was explaining to her how undecided I am and talked about how difficult it's going to be to keep them apart etc. She then asked why I was doing it and what benefits there would be. So I went through all the obvious stuff about no danger of pregnancy, unwanted attention from male dogs, no coming into heat, the possibility of them calming down etc etc. And then she said, 'Don't you WANT them to have puppies then? Aren't you going to let them have a litter each?'
And I didn't know what to say!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
