Makes no difference to me of course - but Charles is really ready for it!
Actually, I suppose it DOES make a difference to me really, because he's around to do stuff with the pups. It never ceases to amaze me how he manages to get them instantly settled on his knee, no matter how excitable they may have been beforehand. In fact they seem to EXPECT to have a quiet snuggle with him. I think they probably think, 'Oh good, it's Dad - HE doesn't move from his seat once he gets in, so we're assured of quality cuddles here!' Perhaps that's why they don't come to me for long cuddles so much - because they know that it's only going to last a few minutes before I'm up and off again.
Anyway, it's rather a wet start to the day today. Hope it dries up later then the pups can get outside.
I HAVE ordered the tee-shirts for them as recommended by the vet, so I hope they're going to arrive in the next couple of days. I'm still going hot and cold thinking about next Wednesday though and there have been times when I've been close to canceling the operation and putting up with the consequences.
Charles and I have decided to go into town on the day of the op to take our minds off it. According to James the new Eldon Square shopping centre will have opened the day before so we'll have a look around there. Neither of us really want to spend any money now though, because we're saving up for a bit of a spree when we get to New York!! (The last time we went we had to buy another suitcase while we were there to bring home all our purchases - but it WAS Christmas, so I think we had a good excuse!)
