Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

I WOULD NEVER HAVE BELIEVED IT!

If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!
The most difficult time for the pups to refrain from barking is when someone comes to the house. They go absolutely berserk when Charles comes home and get frantically excited when Christina turns up.
One quick spray from the can of Pet Corrector completely stopped them from making a sound when both arrived home tonight!
They're not frightened or startled by it, but it obviously gives out the message that the behaviour is unacceptable and it stops instantly! I haven't used it much, but whenever I have, I have given the verbal 'No bark!' (low pitch voice) command at the same time and then rewarded them with a treat and a 'Good girls, no bark!' (high pitch, happy voice)
I really hope this method does the trick because their barking was getting a bit wearing.
If it DOES work, we'll move onto stopping them from jumping up when they are greeting people.
They've been absolutely adorable this afternoon and evening. Despite being confined to the house completely today because of the weather, they have remained really sweet natured and have played companionably together all day.
Well done pups - and well done Pet Corrector!
